Real Business Disrupts identifies and celebrates innovative companies implementing new initiatives to shake up complacent industries. As an Everline Future 50 alumni, Mubaloo spoke to Real Business about our work with facilities management firm Mitie and the disruption it is creating in this space.
With revenues of £2bn, Mitie enlisted Mubaloo’s consultancy offering to help enhance its existing Miworld programme, which is used for day to day service management.
The result of working with Mubaloo was, Miworld, an iPad app, which is customised for each facilities manager. The development revolves around the property division of the outsourcing company and allows users to receive information and alerts, specific to the locations they look after.
Mark Hazelwood, operations director, Miworld said, “we approached Mubaloo to develop a first-to-market iOS application to complement our existing product suite. The application needed to be both intuitive and feature-rich in order to achieve the desired result. We are extremely pleased with the results so far and the app is already making a huge impact with both our existing and prospective clients.”
